Dealio was created in early 2022 by lifelong friends James and Reece, who shared a vision of making local dining more affordable and accessible for everyone. That's when they decided to build a platform to solve that problem, bringing food deals from local venues into one easy-to-use search engine.

James and Reece's inspiration for Dealio goes back to their college and university days in Essex. As students, they often searched for affordable lunch deals that wouldn’t drain their student budgets.
